Poetry Gabriola was super-duper pleased to host our former Artistic Director Hilary Peach for an the island launch of her new memoir, Thick Skin: Notes from a Sister in the Brotherhood (Anvil Press, 2022).

Accompanying her, Galiano Island poet Geoff Inverarity read from his own recently published book, All the Broken Things (Anvil Press, 2022).

Held in NOVA Art & Craft Boutique at Folklife Village, it was a chock-full house and a memorable island literary event!
